I have spent most of my career working in the world of words, not images. I began studying and practicing photography in 2013, around the same time I started volunteering with animal rescue groups. I completed the International Center of Photography’s Continuing Education Track program in 2015. Now I devote much of my spare time to portraiture of animals rescued from abuse or neglect.
I work exclusively on a non-profit basis and donate my services, artwork and profits from print and book sales to animal welfare groups, including Catskill Animal Sanctuary, the Wild Bird Fund, Mighty Mutts, and Mercy for Animals.
